Review on 🔧 Improved Sump Check Valve by Jackel (Model: DJ-545) by Greg Usry

I ordered this on December 5th 2020 and installed it vertically on a new drain pump. As a temporary fix, I routed the exhaust pipe in a 90 degree bend, mostly horizontal, up the basement stairs, out, and then down the hillside. It worked fine initially, but today (March 7, 2021) after less than 3 months of operation, I ran about 6 feet of vertical pipe and then a longer horizontal pipe through underground and on the other side of the house. Now it won't seal because more water pressure is pushing back. On this "reset" I added a second pump "in parallel" for redundancy. I used a cheaper check valve from Home Depot and it seals perfectly under the same conditions, so I don't think my setup is the problem. Revain's return window closed on January 31st and there's no guarantee, so I guess I'm not having any luck with a refund or replacement. The rubber connectors were thicker and heavier, but that doesn't help if the shock isn't tight.
