Review on Vehicle OCD Organizer 2005 2015 2016 2019 by Kenneth Barnes

Fits and works as advertised

There have been a number of reviews that the tray doesn't fit and needs an organizer underneath to sit on. I haven't found this to apply to Gen 2 Tacomas. I have a 2011 Tacoma and the tray straddles the console and sits on top of the console as advertised. However, please note that there is a right way and a wrong way to install the tray. One side of the compartment is marked as the driver's side and if you don't insert it correctly it will fall into the console. You also need to make sure the passenger side of the tray is hooked to the edge of the console. It's very easy to miss, in this case the tray falls into the console. Finally, please note that the position of the trays is not adjustable. It sits in a specific location within the console and cannot be moved forward or backward due to the design of the tray and console. If you need to move the tray to reach something underneath, you'll likely have to pull the tray out all the way and then reinsert it. Tray clings to the edge of the console. Oh, and there's a very slight rub on the console lid when you open and close it when the tray is installed, but it's very slight and I don't think it would be a problem.

Pros
  • The tray fits snugly in the center console, fits snugly and doesn't rattle
Cons
  • Almost never
