Review on Dorman 674 978 Exhaust Manifold by Profit Gilley

Revain Garage advises that this exhaust manifold will fit the 2003 and 2004 Toyota 4Runner. After consultation with Dorman Auto Technical Support, parts 674-977 and 674-978 (Right and Left Manifolds) were made for 2005-2009 Toyota 4Runners, V8 models. These exhaust manifolds are NOT for the 2004 Toyota 4Runner although this website says they are compatible with this model. Doing your research thoroughly before purchasing exhaust manifolds for your vehicle will save you time and return shipping costs, not to mention the inconvenience of your mechanic and downtime without your vehicle. We ordered both a right hand and left hand only to find they didn't even come close to fitting our 2004 4Runner. We had to send them back at our expense.
