Review on 🖨️ Canon CLI-221 Four Color Pack: Compatible with MP980, MP560, MP620, MP640, MP990, MX860, MX870, iP4600, iP3600, and iP4700 by Fred Whitehead

We use a set of these inks every two months with a lot of printing in between. We get about 15 cents per page with this color ink set (depending on how often and how many pages we print at the same time, we get a range of 10 to 20 cents per page). The more pages we print at the same time, the more economical the printer/cartridge is. I like that the cartridge has a transparent body. It's easy to check, if your printer says it's out of ink, you can check the cartridge. Fortunately, when the printer tells me it's out of ink, it's really out of ink. One day I saw that a single drop of ink got stuck in the corner, which is practically useless as it's an area that the printhead can't reach. to make them more reliable. They have an LED that flashes to show how much ink is left and flashes faster when there is less ink. I used Canon compatible ink on a previous printer (Canon MX310) which clogged the printhead several times, the last one damaged the printheads. The MX870 replaced that printer and as I only use Canon OEM cartridges I had no problems.
