style, weight, color and price were exactly what I was looking for. I walk my dog on the sidewalk three times a day. I've had a similar pair for over a year, which I laced up and tied loosely enough to use as a jumpsuit. Take off your slippers, put your foot in a boot, walk the dog, take off your boot. They had to be replaced. My biggest problem with new shoes is heel blisters, so I read the reviews with that in mind. I bought a pair in size 6. I've been wearing size 5.5 or 6 shoes since the 1960's. This shoe is the same size as all my other shoes, but after walking in it my big toes hurt a lot. I re-read the reviews and found others who have experienced the same thing. Most have successfully traded in theirs for a larger size, but I've worn mine on the street. I added mine to a neighbor's flea market and ordered them from 6.5. I have since replaced the insole with a more supportive insole.
