These little lights are excellent. The rechargeable internal batteries are charged via the included 12" USB Micro cable (charger not inluded - just use anyone you already have). After a couple hours of charging they are ready to use (partially charged when received). While they are charging they glow red; when fully charged, the red light turns off.The lights have small built-in hanger hook and a small clear suction cup. They also have a detachable plate that can be attached to a flat surface with either small screws (included) or you can use double sided tape, or a regular mounting tape, or the Command hanging strips (that can be used to hang pictures). So the mounting method is versatile, use whatever works best for your situation.They have a 3-position switch (Auto, Off, On). They have a motion detector that turns the light on when used in the AUTO mode (assuming it is dark). The motion sensor does not turn the lights on if there is sufficient ambient light.You can lift the light off of the mounting plate, slide the switch to ON, and carry it around like a flashlight. In the AUTO mode, the light turns off after about 20 seconds if no further motion is detected.I cannot speak about the typical length of a battery charge. I have used these lights for more than a month, and have not had to recharge them yet. Of course they are only on for a few minutes a night, in total. So I imagine a charge lasts for quite a while using them this way.They are so handy. I have purchased three sets and am ordering another set.A great little product that does what it is intended for, and a good price.
