. It arrived along with some removal tools and I set about installing it. Completely wrong plug. The top connector on my factory stereo had three connected pieces (blue, yellow, and green) and was solid white. Contacts don't even match. Sent it back and ordered a BTS-VW1 instead which had the correct connector. I tucked the unit under the frame in the stereo cutout, bent the connector in the back of the case, plugged everything in, and turned it on. Sounds good. That is why it is rated highly. Before you buy, be aware that not all 2010 Beetles seem to have the same connector.
