Knitting yarn, Angel Cake, for sewing, knitting and crocheting. (Purple Pink White) Very soft and easy to work with. Feels like cotton yarn, slightly softer on hands. When I first looked at it I thought that it's just very loosely twisted strands that make up the strand and it would break like crazy when you work with it. It's not that, they are actually strands of very thin chain links woven together and not splitting at all while I was working with it. It's a little sticky on dry skin though. There are beautiful color combinations that flow into each other in cakes. There's 307 meters/360 yards in the pie. They list 30 x 45 rows in a 10cm x 10cm/4x4" pattern on 4mm needles. I think that's a bit too much - on my pattern I have 24 sts x 40 rows on 3.75mm needles [I just used the needles I had on hand] Make your own pattern if you are knitting something size sensitive It is recommended that you hand wash in cold water and hang dry This yarn is a lot nicer than I expected and I enjoy working with it.
