Review on 🧜 Luna Mermaid Swim Monofin by FINIS by Phillip Jaylon

I am 55 years old and my first time as a mermaid. I chose the Finis Luna monofins because YouTube reviews praised their comfort and because they are also suitable for large size shoes. March 2019 I took my Finis Luna on vacation to Mexico/Riviera Maya and the fin is quite big and heavy but because it's made of flexible silicone it packs easily into a large suitcase under my clothes. As this was my first time using any type of monofin I decided to stay in the resort pools for safety reasons but will try to snorkel when we come back in October. Although I'm older I'm very fortunate to still have good coordination and flexibility and have found the mermaid/aquarius swimming style to be easy enough to learn. As said, this fin is quite big and heavy, but in the water it feels almost weightless, and the tail flexibility and large surface area make propulsion strong and easy. The Finis Luna monofin and green, blue and yellow mermaid leggings, which I also found here on Revain, made for loads of swimming fun! Details: I usually wear US size 9.5-10 women's shoes and the fin fits perfectly in the last strap hole and was quite comfortable. I was also very pleased as I had no issues with calf cramps and I had no issues with chafing so no nasty blisters. YUP! The Finis Luna monofin was a great experience and I will be taking it to Mexico in October 2019.
