These are the first water socks I tried after years of trying various water shoes. Usually have issues with shell pieces getting in my water shoes from the waves, but I didn't with these. Velcro strip could be a bit longer for a tighter closure, but the only issue I had with that was the waves eventually worked them loose. Still didn't get she'll fragments inside though.

Anyone with a foot larger than US 13 who has ever tried to find comfortable water socks for their wading boots, wetshoes, etc., has had to settle for socks that were too tight and hurt after a few hours. I got really tired of rocks sneaking into my water shoes or sandals. If you live by rivers and streams you know the inconvenience of a little odd shaped pebble stuck between your toes and a poorly designed water shoe. not these. They have a left and right, as it is built with an arch and large toe protection. At first I put them on wrong thinking they felt funky but after the switch in socks I laughed at myself. I wear a men's 14 Narrow shoe. I ordered the XXL but it was just a bit snug. I ordered the 3XL which arrived today and seem much better. There is a bit of room on the width, but that is because I have a very narrow foot. I have not tried these socks out on the hot beach sand where I metal detect, but they seem like a good option. One could easy carry them in a pocket for an unplanned need. I will update after use.

Haven't tried it on the sand yet, but it is easy to put on and the fit feels good. Usually items like that that are easy to don don't stay snug on the sand. I will see about that when it gets warmer.

Bought to referee a sand soccer tournament. Had to use flip-flops the second day because the sand was so hot. Velcro at the top keeps sand out of the socks, which is just what you want. I have size 12 feet and the XL is too small, XL is more like an 11 I'd say. The heel seem is creeping around the bottom of my heel.I've owned several sand socks for sand volleyball and the construction is what I expected. They should work well if the size is right.

These worked well. Beach soccer with many shells on the beach. Product worked great. Only complaint was the ability to tighten around your ankle. The velcro strip was small which limited your ability to tighten.

Need water socks for a cruise. Got these in the smallest size and they are still a bit too big for my 7.5 women's feet. Seem snug around the ankle, though, so I think they will work. Fabric seems sturdy, overall comfortable.

The Tilos are nice looking and nice fitting sand Sox but only useful to me in pure sand. The soles are much thinner than I thought they would be so only useful on easy surfaces. Not what I’m looking for so they are going back and the vendor has already issued a return scanner for the UPS store.

Out-of-packaging review: Great fit with reasonable shipping times. The foot bottom is a little softer than I originally expected, so we will see how that works in the less optimal sand that I play in. I wear a size 8 women's & ordered the small. The fit is snug like a sock, but not tight. Good first impression.I will post back in 30 days after playing regularly in them.

I got this for cold sand volleyball nights. They kept my feet dry and helped keep me warmer. They do run a little big. I wear a shoe size 9, read reviews and a small was right for me.
