LOVE LOVE LOVE these socks for sand volleyball!I bought these after I couldn't handle my feet being raw after playing a few hours of sand volleyball on rough sand. These socks have been perfect and they are holding up really well after a month of playing. I will put pics up at the end of summer to show you how they hold up. But even if they only last 1 summer they are so worth the price. Normal socks don't last 2 games.I wear a 9.5 women's and I ordered a M (8-9) and they fit perfect.

Well I didn’t listen to the warning from others. These fit nothing like they should or that they say they do. very light. felt like wearing regular socks, kept all sand out of the bottom where the chafing usually occurs for me. few grains came in at where the Velcro closure is (expected) the bottom makes you feel safe as far as walking on the ocean floor. for the price you won't get better

I can't believe I didn't know about these sooner!I (we - my husband also got a pair and loved them) bought these to take on our Mexico beach vacation. I've brought other water shoes before, and while good for excursions and such, they were not good for just walking on the beach because they would quickly fill with sand. Worked for me so far. I'm not confident that a person with size 12-13 feet would be that pleased with the XL's . My 10-1/2 4E bunionated feet are ok width-wise (stretchy) and barely ok length-wise as the "heel" of the sock barely reaches the end of my heel. I'm concerned that if I wore these a lot, there may be some kind of failure in the heel area. Until then, comfortable in the hot sand and the velcro closure keeps sand out.

I average about a pair a season. Not because they are bad but I put them to good use playing beach volleyball. They take a beating. The price is right, though so I'll keep buying these- they fit great, comfortable and I like this particular pattern as most other "sand socks" come in black or some annoying bright colors.

These are great socks for protecting my feet from the beach's hot sand. I used to wear regular socks while playing beach volleyball, but sand would come in and I would wear a hole through my regular socks in just one or two days of playing. These sand socks do not let sand in and the bottom of the socks has a strong, more durable material. I haven't used any other sand socks, so I can't compare between brands. I wear a size 6.5 shoe and I got the XS size and they fit snuggly.

I like the feel on these. I wear them with socks underneath because it helps keep my feet dry from sweat. I'm on the beach 11 hours a day and these are probably the best style to have if you want to keep sand out of your socks.

The company did send the wrong size twice so it was a pain to have to return them to get the right ones. This was a repeat order because the first one was correct and my husband really like them.

They just arrived today and they fit great, nice and snug! I am exactly a size 10 in men's and I got a MEDIUM. Also, my feet are narrow to regular width. Not sure if a medium would work if you have wide feet, hope this helps.

An excellent product! They even had a U.S. Men's Size 14 that fits me (I wear size 14 shoes) comfortably, which is very hard to find anywhere else. The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars is that the styled part of the sock (the colored part that covers the top, sides, and ankle) was much thinner than I thought. They're cute and thick and have some nice reinforced toe and heel padding -- but mine ran big. I ordered a small as I am usually 6-7, but find they're a bit too big on me, big enough that I won't be using them for what I purchased them for (wearing with fins) but they're still nice so I kept them to wear for other purposes.

A few quick thoughts:1) Sand still got inside the sock within a few minutes of being on the beach.2) I have never seen a human foot shaped like the bottom of this thing.3) I only knew what size to get from reading the other reviews (order a smaller size than normal). I normally wear a 8.5 in man-dude size, and the small is still a bit too long for my foot.

I just received these so I can not speak to the quality yet, but will amend after I have used them. I wear a ladies size 9 & ordered a medium and they are huge-- thinking I need to wxchange for a small. The blue floral are a nice Hawaiian print and come up about ankle high with an adjustable tab at the ankle. The bottom has a slight padding. Great product! Very fast shipping! I was concerned when I opened them because of how thin they were. I was worried I would get blisters from my shoes, then I noticed additional padding in the back. Best of both worlds.

I used these to add some thickness to my foot for my fins that are a little bit loose. I got the added benefit that the "sand" on the beach where I snorkeled was coral and very sharp and the socks kept my feet from getting cut up. They worked great and kept the sand out of my fins and kept them from rubbing. I wear a woman's size 6 and got an XS and should have gotten an XXS.

These are more like soft shoes than socks. I am a women's size 8-8.5 and I purchased the Med. I would recommend getting the small as the Med were a little to big and since they have somewhat of a sole, they are too big. But really like them other than being on the bigger side. Well made. Velcro cuff makes them the easiest to get on and off of all these types of socks. Used them in karate class for a few months and washed semi-weekly, they've held up. A bit too loose for the twisting action of martial arts, as have to adjust them back to square under my sole very often. Would likley be a 4 or 5 star as a yoga or beach sock, or other applications where not so much twisting torque was placed on them. Breathe and wash well as only uses neoprene on sole/to/heel.

I wear sand socks on the beach when I'm playing volleyball after the sun has throughly heated up the sand. These help a lot in preventing the skin at the bottom of your feet from burning off and feeling that pain later on.
