At first I wasn't sure I made the right choice when purchasing this product. First of all I have an iPhone 11 and although I did a lot of research before ordering this emergency radio I initially felt I had to return it. But after spending some time researching the matter, I realized that my purchase wasn't actually a mistake, in fact it was quite a bargain. Basically, the radio must be plugged into a socket or placed in direct sunlight for the battery to charge. After the battery is charged, it can be used to charge your iPhone as the device has a port that accepts the iPhone charger plug. That being said, this handheld radio is small - its 5-inch rectangular bezel fits in the palm of a hand very easily, making it very convenient to carry. It also has a small antenna that extends up to 10 inches to increase reception when needed. The sound is nice and clear once the dial finds a good frequency, which is around four out of five. As for the flashlight, the beam is clear and bright enough. All in all, this little gadget serves its purpose and works pretty well, so I'd give it two thumbs up.
