I had the opportunity to compare the Pro 750 Series Household mdl (VM0158A) with a much earlier (10-15 years ago) model, the Commercial / Household model (VM0103). to compare . ). I also used a Rival Mdl X1-14402C (I don't think they are made anymore). Due to a medical condition, I eat everything I eat through a PEG tube and all food has to be almost liquified to be eaten. The new model performs just as well as the old model in terms of performance and processes food in the shortest possible time. I cook processed sausage (patties and buns), hamburger patties, tender turkey tenderloin and bacon wrapped chicken tenderloin, Panda Express Orange Chicken and Sweet Fire Chicken with Mien, pizza, meatloaf, tender pork loin and other dishes. At the time of this review, I haven't found anything that blenders can't liquefy and do so in 1-2 minutes. Rival works well, but using a sieve is highly recommended when processing meat. The only downside to the vitamix blenders that I can comment on at the moment other than kcost is that both mdl blenders are a bit noisy but the newer model seems to have a bit more vibration. I can't wait to get back to eating normally so I can try some of the other food processing methods listed in the Vitamix cookbook. If I'm basing a durability rating on a previous mdl blender I have to give it a 5 star rating, I've only had the newer mdl for a month so can't comment on it yet. I would recommend the Vitamix blender to a friend, you bet!
