I really liked the curved handle with the large diameter (1.125 inch OD) drawbar. Although I didn't use the 70ft cut rope (it's too flimsy), I really liked the 5ft elastic rope. a rope with a handle as it seemed to reduce shock loads from sagging balls in turns. Without a doubt, this was the most comfortable setup for my elbows I've ever had. but my friend bought one and really liked the grip so i gave it a try.unfortunately the grip worked when i hooked after 2 balls yesterday. It seems possible it might have collapsed in my hands (a scary thought) but to be honest I didn't notice until the boat came back. Please consider it as a light pen/line; Really not suitable for what I used it for. (skied with him maybe 2 dozen times, 170 lbs/skiing 34 mph at 28). There was no sign of wear at the end, but the 5ft rope wore out slightly. Aha
