When I first started crocheting, I used ordinary, non-ergonomic needles and I liked them, but I felt a little uncomfortable working with such a thin needle in my hand. I ordered another set of hooks like this about a year ago and was frustrated when I lost most of the used ones along the way so I ordered this set and don't think I will go back to standard hooks. It fills my hand more than standard hooks, they are lightweight and comfortable to hold. I put less strain on my hands with them, and while some colors were a similar shade (didn't match the image shown above), I could still tell them apart by size. The tote was made from a stiffer felt material and was a bit scratched so I decided not to use it. Otherwise, I highly recommend these hooks.
