This remote control set works great. Small, about the size of a deck of cards. Two things are worth mentioning, but they're not bad enough to lose a star: The remote in the fan emits a loud beep when you press the button on the remote to let you know it's received a signal. It would be nice if you could turn it off. - You cannot dim the light. It's on/off only. The old factory kit for this Hampton Bay from the "big hardware store" was dimmable and we miss that feature. All in all a great kit. All parts (except batteries) included. Ease of installation. And works independently of two fans in the same room (factory pre-paired; no DIP switches). EDIT: After looking at other similar remote control kits, I noticed that one of them had a picture indicating that you can turn the beeper on and off. I tried this kit and it works with this one too! All you have to do is press and hold the stop button for about 6-8 seconds and the beeper will stop. If you want to turn it back on, press the stop button again and hold for 6-8 seconds and the receiver will beep to let you know it's turned back on.
