I bought this size XL police dog costume for my 30kg labrador whippet mix. First of all, I LOVE how unique this costume is! We got lots of compliments on how different it was from the finished costumes we saw at the local Halloween dog event. Accessories are fun - handcuffs and a tiny phone! Unfortunately, this suit started falling apart after only an hour or so. First, my baby hit the door and the handcuffs broke. Later he got too close to the bush and one of the badges fell off. Remember, this all happened while on a quiet walk on a leash and not fighting other puppies or running around. This is definitely a disposable suit and will definitely not hold up if your dog is allowed to play seriously. Another important note: This product runs small. My dog is not as broad as a Labrador but has a deep chest like a Greyhound. The Velcro was constantly coming loose, even in size XL. I can't imagine it coming close to the size of a larger dog. If you are thinking of buying, be sure to order one size larger. In short, this is a fun and unique costume for a small, low-energy dog.
