I have been in the vinyl business for several years now. I have a silhouette cameo. I've ventured into custom made shirts. I bought a clamshell press locally but oh my god that thing was dusty junk! It was a complete eyesore. And it was so heavy and big that I could never put it down! I've been looking for another solution for a long time. Then along came Cricut Easy Press! I was definitely skeptical. I am not a very strong woman anymore as I have lost a lot of muscle mass in the last 6 months of treatment. I really needed something that I could pack away when I had company, but most importantly, be lightweight. This has checked all fields. I gave up my cot and ordered this one. I thought I could always go back. First I sewed and ironed my husband's shirt. He was my test experiment! He had to wear a shirt to work the next day - he's a research engineer and can wear graphic t-shirts in the lab. I figured if it could stand him at work, everything would be fine. Came home, threw it in the hot wash along with the rest of my work clothes! THEN put it in the dryer. Guess what? He still stayed and looked the same as before. Now let me tell you that I had a top $800 machine, a well known brand, a folding press. That was the year I bought it from a company that went bankrupt. I've had many instances where the vinyl stretched even after a cold wash. Yes, I used the correct temperature and pressure every time. I thought it was just a coincidence. So I made a few more for him. Have asked him to do the same. He did this for WEEKS. Yes, for a WEEK we tried this little experiment. It's been 3 months and it still hasn't appeared. This is life saving. It's light, it works, it's removable, it's all you need. I'm SO glad I took the risk!
