Nice set if you don't mind some extra work

3/27/21 update 3 -> 4 stars. I've been experimenting with this set and although it's still difficult to work with, I get better results because I don't crop the cutouts, I just stack them on top of each other. See picture request. I have mixed feelings about these dice, but overall it's a good dice set. A few things to watch out for. First, they are not in any order when you receive them. Sort them, it will take some time, and mark them on the back. Add them to a magnet sheet or strip to save yourself a future nightmare. Second, I make smaller maps, so I use lowercase matrices. They have a long tail which I trim at my discretion. Finally, I'm new to card making and have found these individual letters in stamp or even stamp form to be fidgety for my hands. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy a one-word cube expressing a popular sentiment, like "congratulations" or "happy birthday." To update. This stamp set requires patience. Definitely skip this one if you don't like cutting as it's on the same layer. I'm trying to piece the words "happy retirement" together, but it's too much work.

Pros
  • stampings
Cons
  • boring packaging
