I can't comment on the comfort or durability of this backpack as it is brand new but shipping was fast and the backpack appears to be well made. The color is great in person. It has a mesh pocket for a water bottle and the back of the pack is lightly padded to protect the wearer from the sharp corners of the books. The backpack offers plenty of storage space and many small pockets for stowing supplies. I am very happy with this pack and would buy it again.
