When I bought this lamp I liked it so much I immediately bought a second one for the bedroom. I still love these lamps and this one (my living room lamp) still works great as a lamp. However, the charging ports no longer work. There was no warning or drama involved - they just stopped working one day while I was charging my phone. In terms of charging items, I estimate that I use this lamp about 3 times a week, while I use my bedroom lamp to charge very rarely, only once or twice a month. As for the bedroom lamp - same brand and style, bought about a week after I received the living room lamp - the charging ports still work but there was a problem with the switch. For lighting, I use them twice a day and a living room lamp every few days. The lamp switch in the living room is OK, but the lamp switch in the bedroom no longer goes out like the other lamp. It usually turns off, but sometimes it just goes to the minimum backlight level. When this happens I have to turn it on to maximum brightness and then try turning it back off. So far it's working, but I suspect I won't be able to get away with it for long. Overall I'm still happy with these lamps. The light is exactly what I wanted in terms of brightness and quality and the style suits my home well. But the charging connectors were the deciding factor in my purchase and I'm not sure I would have bought these if I knew they would die within 11 months of use, let alone a connector with an obviously bad one Switch. Given these issues I can't say they are worth the money I paid.
