There are not so many reviews on this model (although it is strange - the decision turned out to be very successful), so I decided to leave a fairly detailed review. The laptop was bought a month ago in Hong Kong, in the modification i5-8300H / 16GB / RTX2060 / 128GB / W10 (1809). I’ll make a reservation right away that, in my understanding, the solution is clearly not the most mobile, i. E. intended use cases are gaming/multimedia desktop replacement and/or portable workstation (actually, therefore, dimensions, weight and battery life were not written down in minuses/pluses; well, for other uses of a laptop, there is something of the G5 5587 level /90). The main advantage of the 7790 is the ability to get a mid-budget gaming PC (for example: around 13300 parrots in Fire Strike, 48-50 fps at maximum settings in the latest assassins or 45-50 fps in the subway on the ultra-preset with high settings for rays) in a laptop case for about 90K without any major compromises. The cooling system more than copes with its task: in heavy games (assassins, metro, etc.) above 90-91C (at the peak; average in the region - 85C) on the CPU and 74C (71C - average) on the GPU - the values \u200b\u200bare not was getting. In computational and engineering tasks (for example, modeling in mathematics or matlab) - and even lower - less than 83C on the CPU. At the same time, the laptop remains relatively quiet (balanced profile + optimized mode in Dell settings): I understand that it is subjective, but, say, Alienware A15 or G5 5587 (with which I worked before) in similar tasks in terms of noise were much less comfortable. The main disadvantages are the sound and numerous applications from Dell itself, due to which (at least in my laptop) the OS managed to seriously slow down (after removing everything except Dell Power Manager + ating W10 to 1903, the problem is removed). I consider the keyboard and screen to be compromises to a minimum degree, because. their perception depends on the tasks and the specific user. As a result: a very solid solution for +/-90K.
