This enclosure is very easy to install. The silicone bumper really protects the hard drive from bumps and knocks without taking up much space in your tablet or laptop bag. I am using this case to convert an old 500GB laptop hard drive into an external USB drive. My Windows 10 PC reads and writes to it with no problems. It is used several times a week in combination with a 2A power adapter (not included) to transfer images and videos from my Android phone. With the power supply I can also do this with my Android tablet. The build quality of this case feels a little flimsy before you put the hard drive in, but putting the drive in and adding the bumper is great.
