I work nights and I sleep during the day. I needed something to keep out the sun that wasn't a couple sheets, so I finally bought these. Good curtains, love the print, glad I found it in silver. My one complaint (and this is probably my own fault for not paying more attention), is that the grommets are huge, much bigger than I thought they would be, so the light does come in a little through the holes at the top, not a deal breaker, but if you're looking for these to be completely light blocking then I do not reccomend.
