Thicker doesn't mean warmer. These are too lighweight lacking in density to be warm in cold temperatures. They will provide cushioning making your shoes fit more comfortable but that's about it.UPDATE:These same socks sell under various brands, and they're all trash. They barely last a few weeks before you start seeing holes.
