Ameriwood Home Fairmont Accent Table Black I bought this table primarily for a small aquarium. The aquarium isn't set yet, but the table is set - and my judgment stands. And that verdict... just OK. There are a few nice things about this piece, and it's not junk, it's average quality and looks considering the advertised price (just over $175 at the time of review). I'll break it down for easier review. .What I liked about it: First, the look. It's really beautiful, with a nice black finish and an elegant design. It doesn't feel very cheap or cheap at discount store level, although it doesn't feel top quality either. Above average range. The storage is useful and not big or loud enough to dominate the room I installed it in. I also found assembly easy; All the parts are in a container where they are separated by letters and I followed the instructions perfectly. The strength of the product is also good, although not ideal; It didn't shake or feel like it would fall apart when I moved and picked it up. Further. My dislikes and "not-so-good" thoughts: First, while the instructions were easy to follow, they still contained some confusing elements; For example, in my kit, the screws were mislabeled in the instructions compared to the container they were stored in. I managed to figure this out by looking at the size of the screws instead of following the letter marks, but it took me a second to figure out what was going on. I also found some parts difficult to add; For example, the screw holes in the door were too small and it took a little effort and effort to get them to work. Next, the item is decent but honestly not that high quality considering it costs close to two hundred dollars. As far as I can tell none of the parts are solid wood and the paint was scratched a little during assembly so I'm guessing it's not that bad. Overall, I don't think the level of detail is that bad, but rather average. If it were at a lower price I would rate it a little higher but for now it's just a little overpriced for what you get.
