I tested it on the workbench and it started blinking like it was working. I cut a hole for a lawn mower that won't be used until spring. I bought another meter for other devices. When I tried to use the mower the meter flashed like it was running but after mowing for more than 2 hours the display still showed 0.0 hours. Luckily I had a second one that I bought for the generator. For a mower it worked well. The display wouldn't turn on, so I figured a cable might have come loose. There is no such happiness. I took it off and tested it on the stand. Dead at all. I've exceeded the return deadline so I'm sticking with it. I'm hoping I can find a similar (but better quality) one that will fit the hole I cut in the mower's dashboard.
