If you're using a 12oz coffee set, it's filled to the brim, so drink or pour a little before closing the lid or you'll get pretty hot spray. A 14 or 16 ounce cup would be better for a 12 ounce setting. The second day the lid leaked a bit, the seal was pinched or twisted so I replaced it with a water glass lid using just a straw. I couldn't decide between rose gold and pink. Finally, I chose pink with glitter. I like the color so I'll keep it but it's not pink. I thought they accidentally gave me rose gold, but the label says "brilliant pink". If you really want pink, go for pink. This keeps my coffee hot enough to finish, but these small mugs don't stay hot as long as the big ones.
