The light is nice and compact. I use it on a 40 gallon aquarium and it fits on top. The suction cups will work, but you will need to thoroughly clean the area with alcohol. The remote works fine, you need to be very close to the switch on the power cord. Brightness is where my biggest problem is. While this is acceptable and does illuminate the tank, it's not as bright as I was hoping for and importantly dimmer than the fluorescent tube I originally had. It will require some tweaking to look, but for the money this is a good item.
