The product was delivered rolled up and had waves when laid out on the table. I waited a while to see if they would calm down; You are not. I tried rolling it the other way so it was flat; it did not work. I contacted the seller and they recommended laying it out in the sun to warm the piece hoping it would straighten out; it didn't work and it was very painful to do it somewhere where there was no grass, gravel, dust, dirt etc. which I couldn't do. After checking with the seller, he sent a replacement - exactly the same problem. It's almost a year later now and I've been keeping it under weight to try and keep it flat. Still very wavy and wavy. I ordered it to protect our dining table when the kids are crafting. Items cannot be placed on this surface as they sway on the waves. I do not recommend this product unless you need it flat.
