So far this seems like a good choice. I like the offset cap, it was a good idea. The length of the cable corresponds to the number of sockets. The 16 gauge wire is borderline, in my opinion it should have been 14 gauge. It should still work just fine, and the extra phone charging ports were definitely a plus. The light on the trigger circuit was a good idea and could be reset. I find this to be a pretty good and safe multi-port cable for now. I would buy another one and actually did, about 3 weeks after the first one. So I applaud him, although I think a wire size of 14 would be fine for him.
