As others have said, the brass fittings on the end of this hose leave a lot to be desired. It became more and more difficult to thread the hose into the main thread. I unscrewed the threads once and found that the ends of the threads were exposed. I put tape on the ends, it didn't help. My advice: think about how you want to use this hose and leave it at that. It's like the fitting has a micro taper, no problems with air leakage as the thread selflessly creates a plug. The hose itself is great. More material than I need for the diameter or air pressure I'm using.
