This lock is utterly useless once you've encountered fences and in climates with wide temperature swings like the high deserts/Northern Arizona. The differences between the lock, pin box and pin are so small that any expansion/contraction of the hot and cold dimples will cause the lock to jam and trigger the opener's safety devices. Also a big problem in strong winds. Wind resistance on unmarked chain link gates will result in the gate not closing properly. When the wind closes the gate, the zombie's deadbolt hits the gate hard, triggering the gate's security to swing it open a few feet. If the wind pushes the gate to the open position, then when closed the gate will not latch into the latch box and thus not latch the gate. My neighbors and I have this lock and all we do is fight it in the wind and sudden changes in temperature. I'm sure at some point this could break the opener so the whole system may need to be changed as the zombie lock doesn't work.
