The fans seem to be working quite well, but the picture quality is poor. One of the fan frames (left) was broken before it left the box. The right one had the same part slightly bent and snapped off when I tried to tighten the mounting screw. Also, despite being connected to the same ARGB header on the Asus x570 TUF gaming mobile device to which I had the only motherboard controlled fan connected, the UpHere hub is not recognized and only one green LED is lit on each fan. 1/3 of the fans are defective out of the box and the hub is not recognized as an ARGB device, making the RGB functionality of the intact fans unusable. UPDATE: After watching a few YouTube videos about the product, I finally found one that explained that pressing the "reset" button on the hub for 3 seconds puts it into a mode that allows you to reset the motherboard can control. The terse 1-page manual mentions that you can press the button for 3 seconds, but doesn't say what it does. But I'm updating my rating to 3 stars because at least the functionality is there. 2. UPDATE: Learn that pressing the sleep button to put the hub into mobile controlled ARGB mode should happen EVERY TIME you turn on the device. The system is shut down and secured, which means you'll need to dangle the reset button somewhere outside of the case. That's ridiculous.
