Due to chronic pain in my arms and sometimes severe weakness I am picky about my water bottles. I'll say I was expecting the outer texture to be matte or more textured to improve my gripping ability, but it's actually pretty smooth. Though it didn't bother me that much. It's not too heavy for me when full and the top handle allows me to use 2 fingers comfortably. I don't always use time markers, but it's still useful for visually showing how much I'm drinking or falling behind. The filter is simple and easy to use. My favorite so far is the addition of blueberries. I also love the pop up lid and I don't have to unscrew the lid to drink. Warning, this is not a bottle to try and suck out the liquid, it's more of a pour. Don't get dehydrated!
