Update: I'm so embarrassed to admit my moronic acts, but I had the cover backwards. The flat side of the lid is the part that fits over the container. pay no attention to me 🤦🏻‍♀️This product sucks and unfortunately I don't have the mental capacity to think through the physics behind this design flaw. I bought 4 of these and the lid fits the container perfectly. Once I put 9 12oz soda cans in, you have to press on the lid and it will flex (see photo). I then took out the jars and tried to put the lid back on, but the lid no longer fits. It only makes sense if the glasses push out the plastic slightly so that the lid can no longer be put on. I actually tried it on all 4 containers (just in case one of them just got wrong) making sure I used the original lid. Then I tried changing the caps. They are perfect before use and not at all after. I've also tried just putting the lid on and comparing the fit to those I haven't opened yet and it's a physical marvel/disaster. Banks have to stretch the ton. There is no other explanation.
