This Proctor Silex toaster is a great item for your counter. Especially in warm weather. You can do a lot of things in it that you can do in a conventional oven. I reheated a batch of lasagna in it last night and it did the job perfectly. Since the lasagne was in a foil pan, the microwave was out of the question. I was able to brown the cheese nicely on top, which I couldn't do in the microwave. It toasts bread well and is easy to keep clean.
