Bought this blanket for my growing thoroughbred (now 5). Known for being rough on blankets, he loves running around his paddock, rolling in the mud, kicking his feet and standing in the rain for HOURS non-stop. We live in rainy Washington DC so it's important to make sure your duvet is completely waterproof, especially in winter when temperatures drop and it rains. This blanket has held up perfectly without tearing and has kept my purebred cat dry and warm! I love the panels and the ability to adjust all the straps and the withers area to accommodate his changing body and keep him comfortable.
