A Real Fake Review For You Sad Dear Readers

Little Katy Tour wrote a book full of obscene gossip about Dear Leader. I'd give it zero stars if I could give this dainty news pop cake with wet linguine noodles a smack on the head. She apparently had a double-edged ax when she hunted the Orange Goblin on her 500-day safari in America. She even competed with Big D in the gilded halls of his dark tower and survived, which is surprising given she's no bigger than a third-place watermelon at the state fair. However, I liked the book. It's well written and easy to read. The events of four years ago are fresh in my mind, but Little Katie embellished them, adding some new details and some reminders of the landmark campaign that culminated in the election of Donald J. Trump to high office. the fear of Hillary Rodham Clinton and her henchmen. I finished the book on Thursday, November 5, 2020, when the Biden and Trump presidential elections were tied and votes were being counted in battleground states. a fresh dose of democracy, dammit, that invigorates! Although the book centers around the Trump campaign, we are joined by Little Kathy as an embedded reporter. I found that aspect of the book interesting in itself, the way the news is presented in real time. I also enjoyed the details of little Katy's personal life and little Katy's family life (when she was little Katy with her mom and dad). It shared the same authorship and plot points of Annette McGivney's Pure Land and the personal vignettes that Jon Krakauer sprinkles throughout his writing. It's amazing how these little glimpses of kindness give me hope in this increasingly crowded and moody world. So, Little Katie, a raggedy reporter drugged with honey and peanut butter, in another nondescript hotel room. Thank you for the memories.
