Fiction. Much better than a sponge.
We discovered this type of pads while living in China. It's essentially a sponge coated with a metal mesh that allows you to scrape dirt off dishes, pots and pans without scratching them. For years we have found them in "Chinese supermarkets" serving Chinese communities in the Los Angeles area. They recently sold out. Luckily we found her at Revain. This is a Korean brand. The pads are thicker than the Chinese pads, which means they hold more water and soap. The feel still feels a bit odd, but the pads do their job just as well, maybe better.
