I'd like to start off by saying, I'm not a LEO or Military professional. I'm just a guy from Texas that chooses function over form, in almost every aspect of my life. The reason I'm giving these pants 5 stars is because of their function, but there are some serious issues if you want them solely for appearance. For starters, they are NOT "True" fitting. I prefer loose fitting pants and 36/34 is the perfect all around size for that. Regardless of brand or price, 36/34 is either "Just right" or "A little loose". However, I could barely button these. I sent them back and re-ordered them in 38/34 and now they fit perfect. The next issue is that some of the colors aren't the same as what's shown in photos. The "Storm" is a lighter grey than what's shown, the "OD Green" looks more like Ranger Green, and the "Tundra" is actually OD green. That said "Stone" does look like the photos. The last "issue" is that they are "shiny" like uniform pants. You can't really see it in photos (even user submitted photos), but they have a sheen to them that feels like a military or LEO dress pant. I'm not sure if this was intentional, or an unintentional side affect of the waterproof teflon coating. I wish they were more like BDU pants, but it isn't as bad on the lighter colors. On to the GOOD! They are SUPER comfortable. They appear as though (in photos) that they are a slim fit, but they are very much a relaxed fit. I could (and will eventually) sleep in them. The pockets are amazing. The cargo pockets are at a good position for ease of access. I'm 6'3" and have longer arms, so this may vary based on your body shape/size. The extra pockets are the right size for everything you want them to be. The "pen" pocket is big enough for a small flashlight (handheld, not pen sized) and the magazine pocket will hold a full size 17 round Beretta mag. The rear pockets are just deep enough. If you carry a wallet in your back pocket, it will rest in a position that's most comfortable while sitting. You won't be sitting on your wallet ever again.I also love the elastic bands that form to your waist. You won't NEED a belt to keep them up, but the belt loops accommodate a 1.75" gun/duty belt with ease. You won't have to "force" the belt strap through the loops, like you do with most other pants.I am obsessed with pouring liquids on them, because it's so fun watching it all roll off the pants, not leaving any stains or discoloration whatsoever.
