this is a joke

I use this in a 4x4 grow tent with only two plants. Says it's good for 2300 cu ft but after 4 hours the humidity in the tent hadn't dropped an iota. I'm not really shocked because when I saw how small she was I felt a little betrayed by the photos (I should have looked at the measurements, not the photos). My grow tent is only 96 cubic feet so I think this 2300 cubic foot dehumidifier would work great. I can't say they lied about what it is, but there are several false claims about what this thing could be useful for. It says "for closet, bedroom, basement, van, home" which is misleading and taught me to read the fine print at all costs. This thing COULD work for a small closet, but it's not worth a damn for something larger unless it even reduces humidity in a 96 cu ft room. It also says it doesn't work until the humidity is above 49%, which would be fine for MY needs if that were actually true. When I put it in my grow tent the humidity was 52%, this was with lights. on the. After 4 hours without light, the humidity is 54%. This tent is ventilated to the outside and a fan circulates inside. In 4 hours I should have seen the humidity drop at least 1%, instead it went up 2%. There is a drop of water in the tank. Maybe I just misunderstood? Or maybe I've just been sold a child's toy that masquerades as a real household appliance. I bet a box of baking soda draws out more moisture than this thing. It's totally useless. Don't waste money. This was intended to be sold as a toddler toy, not an actual device.
