Place two packs of documents on the bottom of the fire safe. After a month, both bags were changing from blue to purple instead of all pink as shown in the photos, so the bag was probably not 50% saturated. Then place both packets in a toaster oven set on 200F on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. After two hours, both packages turned blue again, making them appear to be recyclable. A minor inconsistency: the plastic bag became more rigid and became less transparent after the first refresh cycle, changing color from purple to blue. So I have some concerns about the durability of the whole package, i.e. the number of cycles the package can endure.
