My daughter, a professional writer and editor, has grumbled for years about how much she loves her EcoPrinter. The recent "upgrade" to Windows 10 robbed my computer of the ability to communicate with my very old and reliable HP LaserJet printer and that gave me a reason to look for a color printer. I wanted a printer that could print documents on both sides and this advert implies that the ET-4700 can do that. Can not. The ET-4700 can probably be connected to the network via Ethernet. It's not possible, at least it can't be securely connected over Ethernet. WiFi works fine though. Color prints are pretty decent, especially on photo paper. The print quality suits me. I'm still in the early stages of ownership, so I can't make any valid statements about ink savings or print reliability. Epson software is pretty dumb. There's NO reason to install software to scan or fax to a remote computer, but Epson's software CD insists your computers won't boot, preventing you from choosing exactly what you need. Do you still send faxes?
