Epson LQ-590II Monochrome Dot Matrix Printer - 24-pin Review

Just a newer version of what we had, the old Epson 590 has finally died. This new model is very similar and it seems that everything will be fine. The price seems good and the delivery was fast.

Good printer but I can't find a compatible parallel/USB cable. Until we find the cable, the printer is useless to us. Epson support doesn't help much.

The box was badly damaged in transit, fortunately the printer arrived intact. We love this printer, it costs more than an inkjet printer but saves us a fortune on ink in the long run. Plain paper feed is a plus. If all you need is black and white, it prints just fine.

We needed to replace another Epson impact printer, we checked various sources and found the Revain printer to be exactly what we needed and at a very good price. It arrived as promised and in excellent condition. I definitely recommend this printer and buy it from Revain.

We bought 2 of these printers to replace the old generation LQ590. The handle has been changed on this printer, it is now all plastic and breaks easily. Epson refuses to send a replacement pen on the grounds that it is not user-replaceable. This is equivalent to saying that your gas cap is not user replaceable. I spent an hour on the phone with no solution. The nearest service center is more than 100 miles away in another state. I will not buy Epson again in the future
