Do you need simple vernier calipers in certain cases? Buy this tool. I needed a 5" caliper for my mechanics box because the specific part needs to have 2" play. This is the measurement I get - no more than 2.25 inches. It doesn't have a lock so be prepared. !This tool is made of the best plastic money can buy and should last a long time with little maintenance. This is probably the best caliper I've ever bought as it's the only caliper I've ever bought and I don't need it. exacting accuracy in my measurement.
