This keyboard is the best choice for budding enthusiasts in the Keeb community. This is solely because the board is hot-swappable. You can buy and test switches without breaking the bank. The board is also good for its price. The keyboard plate is anodized metal, I'm assuming it's aluminum. The board's plastics are nothing special, but that's to be expected at this price point. The hits aren't amazing, but they're worse on a budget board. The switches are your standard Ometu switches, which have almost the same sound profile and feel as other budget switches like the Gaytrons or other Cherry switches, but they're pretty good. I highly recommend buying your own switches to install here. This is a no-frills mechanical keyboard that gets you involved with the Keeb community.
