I have a problem with these modern day diesel trucks that the choke is good enough. Maybe for the truck "Princess of the entrance", IDK. Not the roads we ride! We live in Alaska and spend our summers hiking. Driving on a muddy and dusty trail with my previous 2017 Ram Ecodiesel, the inside of the fuel filler flap was just covered in dust. These aluminum lids work well. I'm on my second diesel truck, the new 2021 Cummins Ram 2500, and I had no hesitation in ordering it. Although this gas cap is more expensive than some, I like the locking tabs, o-ring, and dirt residue. . Very well made, happy with the purchase.
