Review on Standard Motor Products SLS237 Stoplight by Jeremy Meza

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Meets all requirements, however. Best in Brake Light

It fits and fixes the problem I had with the brake lights left alone. My only concern/complaint is that the support arms (those little pieces of plastic near the butt) look flimsy. I had to use more force than I was comfortable to get it into position. I thought he was going to throw up, but he ended up rolling over and sitting up properly. Installation steps: 1) Remove the clip/harness from the old sensor (you need to move the orange slider and then pull it out). 2) Turn the old sensor counterclockwise and gently pull it out. 3) Install the new sensor in the same way as the old one outdoors. The seat belt socket should be at an angle to the floorboard. Turn clockwise to sit down (may cause resistance. Be as careful as possible). 4) Connect the wire harness/clip and slide the orange slider to the locked position. 5) Rotate the rear lever clockwise from obliquely up and down. DO NOT touch the brake pedal. This should be the last step. If you do this too soon, your sensor will become unusable. 6) Check the correct operation of the brake lights.
