For the price, I didn't expect them to be anything other than cheap bags. The clear plastic is very durable, but the set arrived with each bag compressed to save space in shipping. I carefully chopped them all up and stuffed them for a few days to restore their original shape. When closing I was very careful with the zippers as they feel very fragile and are likely to break with anything but very careful use. I also noticed a strong chemical smell on my hands after working the bags to shape them and sniffed the inside of each bag to make sure the smell was coming from there. I hope this will pass with time, but I made sure to wash my hands right after picking up the bags. If I were to use this to store items that aren't already in their own sealed container I would be very concerned but they are for our travel items only so no big deal. It doesn't look like we're going to put snacks in it, so don't expect food-grade materials.
